Transition Series
The influence I bring to my cold wax and oil work on cradled panel board comes from years of studying and painting the characteristics of botanical art subjects. Colors are blended and layered multiple times while creating texture and giving each painting a defined character. An interplay of transparency and opaqueness is a consistent theme throughout. No experience is ever wasted in the world of art.
